My main responsibilities include the creation and implementation of detailed account plans to achieve overall sales growth, within a portfolio of existing both UK and European based customers totalling £5million turnover. New business development is also a key aspect of my current role partnered with identifying revenue streams to obtain.

As an Account manager to a portfolio of approximately 950 Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) customers, I am targeted on gaining sales growth from these accounts.Going to market with strong industry insight and a dynamic mindset enables me to integrate efficient purchasing process solution that stimulate productivity and cost reduction within my MRO customer base. I lead by educating the customer on their true purchase-to-pay (P2P) and source-to-pay (S2P) costs that they may not have been aware of. Integrating best practice purchasing methods to address internal and external costs drives customer engagement and loyalty. Negotiating customer specific contractual terms with a high level of commercial awareness is a secondary tool used to aid the growth of my accounts, and deliver over £1 million profit annually.

Employed help create then work within what is now the 'Lead Activation Team', based in RS Components' head office in Corby, which is soon to be globalised.As a member of the LA Team, I engage with B2B accounts ranging in size from standard to corporate. With the goal to maximise the potential investment for the long term future, creating a level of loyalty by understanding their procurement needs. In order to analyse the opportunity for strategic commercial decisions, I will look to understand which contacts within the customer base have a high level of engagement, influence and authority towards the procurement decision making process.
