DEFCON(Defence Conditions) in a Design and Build Contract executing the following duties;• DEFCON – DEFENCE ESTATE CONTRACT CONDITIONS-Understanding and Advising the contractor on all contractual matters in the DEFCON as per British Standards.• Preparation of Change proposal and Change Quotations for all new Milestones.• Preparation of Milestone payments and Milestone payment schedules.• Preparation of Financial report detailing all invoicing and contract amendments.• Advising the contractor on all contractual matters on JCT and DEFCON.• Complete cross checking and submission of all sub-contractors quotations.• Other documentation and process to be followed on the DEFCON contract.• Monitoring all aspects of the works ensuring that the contractor meet key milestones throughout the works.

1. Complete site re‐measurements of all work as it progresses.2. Production of Monthly valuations and the necessary back‐ups.3. Liaison with contract coordinator/ site Engineer/General foreman on all aspects ofmeasurements.4. Quantification of all bending schedules and compilation of all site instructions/variation orders.5. Preparation of comparative analysis of consultant QS valuation with our application andpreparation of back‐ups to support any variances.6. Routinely updating ALL site measurements records for use in final account documentation.7. Preparation of analysis report of company’s materials investments in a particular site at the endof every month versus corresponding interim certified amount for those materials/items.8. Preparation of monthly reports, cash flow statements and Financial Appraisals.9. Preparation and Pricing of BOQs for new works.10. Working out builders’ work materials quantities from the BOQ.11. Complete cross checking of the contract drawings and BOQ.12. Reconciliation of material schedules etc.
