Advise on compliance with Planning Policy across National, Local Authority, and Neighbourhood levels, enhance pre-planning layouts, and conduct design reviews for consented schemes.Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, managing a team of external consultants with a focus on securing planning permissions for complex, large-scale residential developments.Oversee the entire Development Management process, managing and negotiating planning applications by collaborating with all stakeholders to resolve design and technical challenges.Develop and implement community engagement strategies by arranging and leading meetings with local stakeholders, and balancing community aspirations with business goals to secure project delivery.Represent the business at public forums, preparing and delivering presentations at committee meetings.Negotiate S106 Agreements with LPAs, solicitors, and legal counsel to align the interests of the business with those of involved parties, facilitating satisfactory outcomes for all stakeholders.Regularly update senior management on planning issues to ensure strategic alignment and achievement of organisational goals.Establish and monitor fee budgets to maintain fiscal responsibility.
