As a Charitable Gaming Compliance Officer II, I conduct in-depth investigations of charitable gaming organizations and facilities to ensure compliance with charitable gaming statues and regulations. These gaming activities include bingo, pulltabs, electronic pulltabs (EPD’s), raffles, charity fundraising events (CFE), and special limited CFE’s. As part of this position, I routinely conduct field and office training for approximately 1200 licensed and exempt organizations across Kentucky, investigate charitable gaming complaints, prepare detailed inspection reports, and provide training to new compliance officers. Prior to this position, I served approximately twelve years in the United States Air Force. This included managing multiple personnel in an office setting, as well as in a combat zone. My duties ranged from writing employee performance reports, conducting personnel feedback, overseeing mediation sessions, and being the subject matter expert for all processes in the different offices that I have worked. I also have over 25 years’ experience in customer service, managed safety programs for 180 people, and managed computer equipment accounts valued at $180,000. Prior to working in an office setting, I spent 6 years as a munitions maintenance specialist on the A-10 and F-15 fighter planes. This work required precision accuracy and attention to detail, which helped mold my work ethic.
