My journey with Roca Group was a very exciting ride with lots of learning and growth opportunities due to the diverse nature of the role.When I first joined Roca, I was graced with the opportunity to work with many of our production plants and colleagues overseas as well as clients locally to ensure a smooth and adequate supply chain for the Australian bathroom products market.Overtime I also became more involved with stock movements and inventory levels between DC's within… Show more My journey with Roca Group was a very exciting ride with lots of learning and growth opportunities due to the diverse nature of the role.When I first joined Roca, I was graced with the opportunity to work with many of our production plants and colleagues overseas as well as clients locally to ensure a smooth and adequate supply chain for the Australian bathroom products market.Overtime I also became more involved with stock movements and inventory levels between DC's within Australia.Duties that made it possible were:- Regular contact with external clients and internal products team to ensure supply goals are clear- Processing official orders or forecasts provided by client- Liaising with each respective factory to understand challenges involved and work out realistic delivery plans- Process export documents and occasionally sort out ad-hoc issues regarding international freight with freight forwarders and clients- Sourcing data from ERP System (SAP) and compile reports to review sales and demand on chosen item lines- Quoting and setting prices based on COGs, other costs & appropriate margins- Handling claims regarding manufacturing defects- Stock transfers between DCs & warehouse replenishing based on forecasted demands- Interactions in the supply chain from factory to local warehouses to distributors and end-customer- Analysing costs in supply chain and implementing cost-saving initiativesIt was a tremendous privilege growing and contributing with Roca!
