Position is a Federal Citation Officer under the Northern Federal Court of West Virginia. I serve as a Park Ranger where my duties include, but are not limited to: water safety, resource management, physical security, financial management, facility management, damtending and hydrologic control at a flood risk reduction facility. I also serve as the Huntington District Self Defense, Pepper Spray, and Defensive Tactics Instructor and Advisor. Other duties include campground management, wildlife management, forest management, visitor safety, and management of Visitation and Facilty Sign Programs. Work with local and state governments in many aspecs. Serve as manager in absense of Supervisor. Formulate, compile, and admister package for Law Enforcement contracts. Serve on Glenville State College Academic Curriculum committee. Continue to serve as Secretary of Glenville State College Environmental Science Advisory committee. . Found committee for the advancement of “That Dam Race” 5K. Initiate and served as POC for a RESA IV Work Base Learning program through Braxton County High School. Draft MOU (memorandum of understanding) between the Corps and RESA IV to advance intern program. Serve as Instructor at NRCS Field Day teaching Boating and Water Safety in a hands on, outdoor classroom setting to hundreds of Braxton County Middle School students.Planned, coordinated and presented the Lakes and Rivers Division pilot SPEAR self defense program to the National Advisory Board in December of 2014.
