As a co-founder of the business, I played a critical role in the establishment and growth of the company. During this tenure with Capital Markets, I was primarily responsible for the implementation of an Introducing Broker Dealer between Capital Markets and Pershing LLC. I was trained in New Jersey, where Pershing´s headquarters are based. I was in charge of the platform administration, relationship management and compliance/operational oversight of local register representatives and clearing agent. Oversight responsibilities included, but were not limited to, conducting and coordinating reviews of various aspects of the sales/trading process (i.e. Compliance, AML, Charges to Customers, Treasury, Credit, Margin, Trading, Account Opening, amongst other areas). Compliance/operational activities are primarily focused on ensuring overall activities in the firm’s various product types (i.e. options, equities, fixed income securities and research) are within company and regulatory standards. I had annual meetings with clearing firm’s managers in New Jersey to discuss and oversight each of the IBD business key areas as well as products offering and new regulation updates.

I started working as a product analyst in the asset management area. I was responsible for the analysis of different products for investment purposes, building up portfolios and tracking the performance of the different securities that were recommended in the weekly meetings. Then, I rotated to the private banking area, where I focus mainly in the different investment products such as mutual funds, hedge funds, structure products and fixed income securities. I was the main contact with each fund family sales officer and the different bankers that worked in the company. I had to know all the details of every product that we recommended or sold. Sometimes I had asked to the different counterparties that we traded with, to build up Taylor-made and quote structure products that have been previously analyze. Then, I started working as a trader for the company in the international markets. As the company trades with different banks and brokers, I was trained to use different trading platforms (Suisse and US platforms). I traded all kind of securities, from equity and fixed income to mutual funds and hedge funds. I also kept in contact with the main investment banks to see which were the most attractive structure notes that could be offer to our customers. I gather a lot of experience as an international trader and encourage the delivery versus payments trades that increased the company’s business.

Capital Markets Argentina is one of the leading stock and fixed income brokers of Argentina. I worked as an equity analyst for the research department, with special focus on the local market. The main companies that I analyzed were members of the Merval, which is the most important and representative stock index in Argentina. The reports were built up with a qualitative and quantitative method, using DCF Valuation (Discounted Cash Flow) and multiple valuations against other companies for investment purposes. Add it to this; I started to encourage the macroeconomic research with special focus into the US and Europe economy, as well as the Latin American countries. The main idea was to give Capital Market’s customers a weekly overview of the main economic indicators and which were the most attractive sector to invest.

Seatrade is the world’s biggest operator of Specialized Reefer Vessels with a world-wide net of branch-offices and agencies. My responsibilities in the company were the development of international markets, with a special focus on the Latin-American and European commerce. I specialized in different business valuation to analyze the possibility of expanding into new sea routes; coordination of the different vessels to cover the existing demand on conventional cargo and communications with the vessels supervisors to overview the status of the palletized cargo. I also focus on the administrative area, to keep the accounting of the markets that I was responsible for.
