Thomas has in-depth experience in developing fire strategies and has worked on a multitude of schemes spanning across the UK, Europe and further afield. Through his fire engineering career he has worked on numerous projects, accruing experience in nearly all sectors. From working on high rise commercial buildings in London and the Middle East, Educational Facilities (schools, academies and universities), hospitals, transport hubs (airports, subterranean railways etc), bespoke architectural installations, stadiums, warehouses, through to all areas of residential developments from individual dwellings to high rise prime residential schemes. Notable schemes he has worked on include Crossrail, an international subterranean rail development, international stadia. Having grown up around construction, Thomas has an innate enthusiasm for the built environment. He strives to continuously develop bespoke, imaginative and practical fire strategies for a variety of schemes within both monetary and timescale constraints, while ensuring both maximum architectural freedom, and most importantly where of course life safety is achieved. Thomas has a BEng (Hons) from the University of Leeds and has extensive experience in detailed fire engineering techniques including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and people movement modelling, as well as experience in construction stages and existing buildings. Thomas has also worked with codes from several regions including various Middle East codes, NFPA, IBC, IFC, UK, BS, EN's etc. He is based in London and works on schemes in the UK and worldwide.
