As a Shift team leader at Bulten Ltd i was responsible for the following duties: o Responsible for monitoring training and development of new employees on shift. o Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with all team members.o Maintain a positive work environment for employees and suppliers.o Ensure all products leaving the warehouse are to the best quality.o Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.o Constantly inspect all work equipment to identify shortages and damages, and relate findings to management for quick resolution to enable smooth flow of operations.o Give workers detailed feedback on their level of performance most especially when they are not performing up to company expectations, in order for them to sit up and do better.o Work as the middleman between management and workers to facilitate good communication and airing of complaints from both parties, and see to it that all issues are sorted out.o Ensure warehouse pickers pick correctly and efficiently.o Assisting the warehouse operatives where possible and especially when were on high demand.o Use of IT to review stock movements and obsolescence.o Always being available when I may get called to an incident that requires first aid.o Arranging, agreeing and recommending overtime.o Achieving and reviewing KPI performance and budgets.o Overseeing and assisting in disciplinary and warning procedures
