My primary responsibilities are to support the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs at Davison High School. I plan, initiate, and develop activities to bring about closer collaboration and coordination with the local district and all stakeholders. This involves participating in meetings and groups, such as the county-wide CTE meetings and local program advisory committee meetings. I develop relationships with students, teachers, community partners and post-secondary institutions to improve all of our programming, and create better opportunities for our students. Another key aspect of my role is overseeing and implementing data collection and utilization through the Career and Technical Education Information System (CTEIS). This includes developing strategies for data collection, inputting data into CTEIS, and facilitating the follow-up survey process.In addition to these responsibilities, I am responsible for providing professional learning opportunities for CTE teachers and other instructional staff. This includes encouraging participation in professional development opportunities, supporting teachers to attend conferences and workshops, and working with CEPD Director and other support staff to develop and deliver professional learning opportunities for CTE staff and administrators.Overall, my role plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and growth of CTE programs in the district through creative planning, effective collaboration, consistent curriculum development, data management, and professional learning.

As an Exercise Science Instructor and Media Production Instructor at the William D. Ford Career/Technical Center, I had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of my students. I implemented a new Exercise Science course in 2019 and was instrumental in the development of a 5,500 sq. ft. Exercise Science facility in 2019. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have also served as a 5D+ Evaluation Trainer from 2017-2022, PD Coordinator from 2017-2022, Building Mentor from 2017-2022, and Department Head from 2018-2022. I have been a member of the School Improvement Team from 2016-2022 and the CTE Funding/Budgeting Team from 2017-2022, as well as a Bond Development Committee member from 2018-2020 and a member of the Curriculum Council from 2018-2019.In addition to my role as an instructor, I was also actively involved in the athletic department at John Glenn High School school. I served as the Girls' Bowling Coach from 2016-2022, Girls' Golf Coach from 2017-2021, and Assistant Track & Field Coach from 2019-2021. Through these experiences, I have developed strong leadership skills and a passion for helping students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

I taught an Adult Education course in Graphic Design. Students learned the fundamentals of Typography, Color Theory, Print Design, Web Design, Animation, Vinyl Graphics, Screen Printing, and more.

I taught students the fundamental graphic design concepts and industry standard tools like the Adobe Creative Suite. Students also learn screen printing, screen reclaiming, screen stretching, vinyl cutting / sign & decal making, photo editing, binding and finishing operations, embroidery, and more.In addition, I manage a group of 5-6 students each year that produce product and fulfill orders within the community for apparel, decals, signs and other printed items. I am also the yearbook adviser. We produce a 372-page publication each year. Over the past two years, the students have earned a national gallery of excellence award, presented by Walsworth Publishing Company to the yearbook staffs that demonstrate the best creativity, photography and design.

I helped develop and maintain an email marketing program that directly increased sales from new businesses. I prepared artwork for all types of product decoration including screen printing, laser engraving, embroidery, and more. I would create custom artwork, as well as logo rebuilds from low quality image files. I also provided product mock-ups, sales proposals and presentations. I acquired and maintained some of my own accounts as well.

I used Adobe InDesign to layout and revise newspaper advertisements and direct mail pieces for Owens Corning, U.S. Cellular, AutoTrader.com, Blockbuster Video, and more.

I used Adobe InDesign to produce, edit, and publish informational materials for Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge vehicles. The published material was targeted towards the sales professionals nationwide. These lengthy documents incorporated images, charts, graphs, text and more. They were used to train sales professionals on the specifications in the new model year.
