Operations Manager – Disposal & Reserve Ship OrganisationThe unit takes custody of warships from end of operational life onto their final destination, set out by Navy Command HQ.•Ensure all project objectives are achieved within the tolerances set by senior management and/or the customer(s).•Manage day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring specialist teams are fully briefed and content with work packages, removals and/or exercises on all units in custody. •Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders ensuring information flow is controlled and maintained throughout project lifecycles.Tactical Command Support – HMS Defender-HMS DiamondFront line operational units which were in a state of very high readiness to deploy on operations around the world.• Act as unit Yeoman to support command in the tactical environment, ensuring information flow is maintained throughout serials and operations.• Deputise in the absence of the Chief Bosuns Mate during maintenance periods, including planned UK dry docking and unplanned foreign port visits, certifying work packages meet the quality standard set and are delivered on time.• Deliver whole ship, department and sub department training packages, making sure compliance is upheld throughout ship’s company.Manpower Controller’s Assistant, Seamanship Specialist – Fishery Protection Squadron, HMS MerseyMade up of batch 1 and 2 offshore patrol vessels which carry out multiple roles including anti-piracy & counter-narcotics, fleet ready escort duties, fishing fleet boarding operations and humanitarian support.•Act as the subject matter expert for all seamanship evolutions whilst on operations outside of UK waters.•Obtain new sea survival equipment, identify the correct operating procedure and brief command on the benefits, taking into the account the operational environment.•Assist the squadron manpower controller allocating personnel to each unit, enabling them to maintain operational capability.
