● Performs Daily analysis of all Products (premium motor spirit (PMS), dual process kerosene (DPK), and automobile gas oil (AGO)) from the tanks for recertification of quality using the American Society for Test and Material (ASTM International) methods● Documents and compiles all observations and data obtained from testing PMS, DPK, and AGO fuels as per established SOPs and good documentation practices ● Responsible for ensuring product quality and product integrity of our products (PMS, AGO, DPK) to meet DPR/SON standards using the American Society for Test and Material (ASTM International) tests for specific gravity @ 15°C, flash point and distillation range.● Review laboratory practices and procedures to ensure that compliance with quality assurance and safety standards are met.● Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures.● I certify petroleum white products; PMS, DPK, AGO before receipts from vessels into tanks.● Operates in complete accordance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring testing and analysis adheres to quality assurance/quality control procedures.● Participates in accreditation assessments, ministry inspections and internal/external audits.●Demonstrates testing methods to staff and provides direction to students by providing technical/functional instructions on laboratory procedures.
