Client side Systems Engineer within the transit system design/construction team for Riyadh Metro Line 3. Transit sub-Systems covered include Rolling Stock, Power Supply & Third Rail, Signaling, Wayside Obstacle Detection System, Platform Screen Doors, OCC and Telecoms. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Interfacing with internal and external (rolling stock, signaling, construction other) stakeholders to resolve interface issues on site, in particular Civil, Track work and Systems * Monitoring the construction of the Systems and ensuring their compliance to the client’s requirements and the agreed installation, commission and test procedures. * Reporting on progress, looking at potential commercial issues/claims and feeding information directly to the Claims team to allow any such claims from The Contractor to be assessed appropriately. * Providing weekly and ad-hoc installation progress reports and reports on any incidents/accident that occur on site * Supervising the DB contractors works inclusive of installation testing prior to handover of the Systems to the Testing & Commissioning Team. Such supervision includes raising of Non Conformance Reports, Ensuring the Contractor works in a safe and efficient manner, and ensuring adherence of all Contractors staff to the approved design, installation and commissioning procedures.

Rail System Design Engineer PSD for Doha Metro.- Manage all activities of the Metro Systems D&B Contractor(s) related to designing, procuring, integration, installing and testing of PSD.- Review the Contractors PSD System design Submissions, PSD System architecture, infrastructure, equipment layout, interface requirements, equipment and material Submissions for the PSD equipment and to recommend to the Engineer the appropriate approval status.- Coordinate the PSD System design process including the interchange of interface information, technical clarifications and technical information (RFI), design changes (RFC) and design variances between the Systems Contractor, the Civil Works Contractor for each line and the Qatar Rail System Design and Delivery teams.- Act in an advisory and acceptance role on technical issues related to design review and compliance with specifications.- Review and approve all Contractor payment applications.
