Research field: Human-Centered design & User experienceCurrently I'm an internal project manager in a national Tekes ICT-shok project called DIEM. Our part of the project cover issues, such as mobile mixed reality and device interoperability in creating new smart environments. The projects are conducted in close cooperation with, for example, Nokia Research Center, Universities of Tampere and Oulu, VTT, Helsinki Uni of Tech., Idean.In addition, I'm giving an annual course about Contextual Design (user-centered design), preparing miscellaneous new research projects, and supervising a few Master theses. The rest of the schedule is filled with working on my Doctoral thesis about user experience in collective content interaction, as well as advancing my doctoral studies.Current research topics and areas of interest:- Collective content experience- Ubiquitous computing - Mixed reality & smart environments- Context awareness- User eXperience- Social networks & online communities In 2008, I completed my Master of Science degree with a Master's thesis "Capturing, Managing and Sharing Memories with Mobile Phones: A User-Centered Design Approach".
