My current position within the company has seen me take on new responsibilities to which I have had to develop new skills very quickly. I currently oversee a small team and work very closely with the other stores within the company. My day to day responsibilities include creating rota's for my team, keeping up to date records of the business financials and oversee the stock control of the store keeping regular checks of fast moving lines and helping to track of new and upcoming trends. I have a strong focus in sales as well as bar work meaning I have excellent customer service skills which, I can certainly use to my advantage. Because of my current job role I work very closely with our suppliers and feel that I have developed very good communication skills.

My responsibilities involve looking after all of our guests; making sure they have everything they want and keeping the restaurant looking clean and tidy. I make sure there is enough equipment to ensure a smooth service, whilst also serving food and drink to all of our clients.

I worked on the OpusOne bar for 2 months serving drinks and making cocktails, whilst also delivering 5* star table service. After 2 months on the bar , I was moved in to the OpusOne restaurant to serve their guests to deliver excellent service. During my time at the Radisson, I was given the opportunity to address a class of my peers with a wine training programme, of which I created myself, so that the my colleagues were able to answer any questions our guests asked. I am also part of the Voice For You initiative to which I voice opinions of my own and my peers to a discussion group, to then produce positive outcomes. I have also been given more responsibility within the department, by being able to cash up the restaurant and bar tills.

My responsibilities are to keep all staff and customers happy; keeping the restaurant clean and tidy, whilst also dealing with orders and delivery. I also made sure I had appropriate music for the restaurant, keeping the environment comfortable for all of my customers.
