Wine and spirits is an ever changing world with lots to learn and even more to discover. For me, my passion of these products has been a constant intrigue with a desire to learn and develop within certain roles to help me advance in my career. I am always on the hunt to learn new things and increase my knowledge so I regularly attend trade tastings, National Tasting events (like London Wine Fair and SITT) as well as hosting my own private tasting events. I love this side of my job and find it is a real passion for me. I have also completed my WSET Level 3 and passed with a grade of Merit.Having worked in Hospitality I have developed excellent customer service skills;I have grown strong relationships with my customers making this an essential part of management duties. Due to my current role I have expanded my administrative skills and understand the importance of organisation and time management; I understand P&L accounts and understand the importance of how to improve certain areas to grow the business. I have a very good understanding of the wine industry; I have done several wine orientated courses to further my knowledge and I am currently in the process of completing my WSET level 3.
