As an Assistant Branch Manager at Jewson, I support the Branch Manager in leading the team of customer service and sales advisors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the branch and delivering excellent service to our customers. I have been working at Jewson for over six years, starting as a part time Customer Service Advisor during my time completing my GCSEs and A levels at School/College/University. Progressing to Senior Customer Service Advisor - Sales, after withdrawing from The University of Nottingham in my first year, this big decision is not something I am ashamed off. I am proud that I put my happiness first and chose to begin my career with hard work and without the need of a degree. My progression lead to me being promoted to my current role in February 2023. I have developed strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep knowledge of the building materials industry. I have a passion for helping customers find the best products and solutions for their projects, and I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges. With this and being committed to the values and goals of Jewson, I hope to develop myself in my current role and look to progress to the next level.
