Throughout my time in McDonald’s I switched from a customer care assistant whose main responsibilities consisted of restaurant cleanliness and customer well-being, to a crew member working within the kitchen and front counter where food/ drinks were prepared and served. During my time here I received high praise from senior members of staff and was rewarded with employee of the month for October 2021. My other two roles at home bargains and the coop are where I developed my customer service skills further that were acquired at my previous job in McDonald’s. At the age of 14 in 2019 I did work ‘off the books’ at a small garage where I did my work experience who were so impressed with my performance they offered me a role assisting the mechanics and even working independently on cars, motorbikes and vans on weekends. My main skills would be communication, teamwork, problem solving, attention to detail and dependability.
