I enjoy working with scientists from many diverse departments and cross-functional teams.At my current job and previous employment, I have taken many opportunities to grow and learn more about organic synthetic chemistry. I have managed and mentored teams of scientists on projects that I have led from idea to lead and even to development candidates. My strong synthetic knowledge base has given me the ability to significantly contribute to the projects I have worked with others on. I bring with me a creative intuition for analogging based on my experience of SAR and knowledge of bioisosteres. I have worked with many analytical tools such as preparative chromatography, HPLC/MS, UPLC/MS-MS, various NMR studies, UV-Vis/infrared spectroscopy, and optical rotational analysis. I have performed research in a high quality and timely manner, meeting deadlines related to toxicology, environmental and biological fate, site of action studies, and field testing and coordinate activities and responsibilities with these project teams. I have monitored and worked closely with CROs in support of my research. I contributed to DuPont by leading numerous and significant safety initiatives involving multiple business functions.
