CurrentCurrently working on ARM's Tradepoint Atlantic secondment team at Sparrows Point, Maryland. This Brownfield Redevelopment project, one of the nations largest, was once home to the Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows Point steel manufacturing site. My main focus is on the interim measures side, specifically the maintenance and operation of the four environmental remediation systems, which include groundwater pump and treat, and air sparge soil vapor extraction. I have recently been in the process of rebuilding, upgrading and bringing back online a shuttered groundwater pump and treat system in the former coke oven area of the site. Other duties include; IDW and hazardous waste tracking and disposal, various investigation and data collection activities such as; borehole logging, well installations and repairs, groundwater, soil and soil vapor collection, bulk product removal and the interim measures reporting.
