    GN&C Engineer supporting NASA MSFC EV42—design, modeling, and analysis of launch vehicle navigation systems. -Co-lead of the SLS Navigation Working Group (NWG). Responsible for coordinating team members’ task assignments, arranging/approving peer review of data products and software/model deliveries, and representing SLS NWG to program and line management. -Supported Artemis I GN&C Day of Launch team: monitoring Core Stage RINU gyro-compassing performance, health and status of Core Stage RINU and RGAs, and evaluation of Core Stage insertion accuracy.-Developed displays and procedures for Day-of-Launch monitoring the health and status of the SLS RINU and RGAs as well as performing assessments of RINU gyro-compassing performance, as well as the status of the navigation flight software. These displays and procedures have been used used to monitor the Core Stage Green Run, during all cross-program launch simulations, and for Day-of-Launch activities. -Reviewed HWIL data used to assess navigation system operations and performance.-Implemented a model of ICPS navigation filter used to both Artemis I and Artemis II in-space analysis.-Developed/maintained models for Earth orientation parameters in 6-DOF simulation tools.-Developed strap-down inertial navigation model and Earth gravity model for use in SLS/EUS navigation software.-Developed performance metrics associated with pre-flight checkout tests and launch commit criteria associated with the SLS Rate Gyro Assemblies and Inertial Navigation System.-Assisted with development of Redundant Inertial Navigation Unit and Rate Gyro Assembly models for use in both stand-alone analysis tools and in an integrated vehicle simulation (MAVERIC).-Performed analysis to determine sensitivities to timing errors in initializing navigation system. -Developed and implemented algorithm to compute true-of-date epoch for use in establishing the Earth-Centered-Inertial frame used to initialize the SLS inertial navigation system.
