Thomas Parks is the founding member of The Parks Group at Graystone Consulting and has focused on striving to meet the needs of institutional investors since 1981. He has over 41 years of investment experience with Graystone Consulting, where he works extensively with corporations, retirement plans, foundations and endowments and other institutional investors. As an Institutional Consulting Director, Tom is responsible for strategic policy, portfolio optimization, and investment manager selection. He focuses on developing sophisticated asset allocation and investment strategies, conducting extensive research and evaluation on investment management firms, comprehensive investment and spending policy statements reviews, delivering performance measurement, monitoring services, and ongoing Trustee education.A graduate of Michigan State University, Tom attended the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, earning the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation.The Parks Group was named to NAPA’s Top DC Advisor Team list (2017-2021) and was a finalist for the 2016, 2017 and 2019 PLANSPONSOR Retirement Adviser of the Year award.
