People And Culture Generalist
CurrentPeople and Culture Generalist run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) departmentincluding hiring and interviewing staff, benefits administration, leave, and enforcing companypolicies and practices. - Screen candidates and conducts interviews in hiring of qualified job applicants for openpositions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competenciesrequired for openings. - Designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases, conducting new hireinterviews. - Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. - Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. - Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs includingbut not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance andtalent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; andtraining and development. - Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referringcomplex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. - Completes request verification of employment, wage audits, unemployment compensationclaims. - Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, and terminations. - Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, andrecommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. - Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies inhuman resources, talent management, and employment law. - Performs other duties as assigned.
