Since 1962, the Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI) has grown to become the largest comprehensive, fully accredited, private organization in Georgia, providing a wide range of services in rehabilitation and education for individuals of all ages who are visually impaired or blind. With its ongoing mission to empower people impacted by vision loss to live with independence and dignity, CVI remains Georgia’s largest service provider for the blind and visually impaired. As a member of CVI’s Governing Board I provide oversight and support to furthering that mission. My current Board duties include being a member of the Governance Committee and a special subcommittee of the Board focused on refining and overseeing achievement of CVI’s long-term strategy.

Imperatives included a continuing focus on health and safety for our global employees while ensuring uninterrupted high-levels of client service and increasing sales; employee outreach to maximize retention; and consolidation of operational elements where efficiencies could be realized.

Greater Denver Area

Employee-Director of the Board of Directors for CH2M, a Fortune 500® global technology-based project delivery company. Fully engaged in identifying and evaluating capital structure strategic alternatives. Provided governance in formatting, assessment and oversight of process to attract private equity investment, restructure debt financing and ultimately merge the company with Jacobs. Served on the board's risk committee chartered to oversee and ensure the company was mitigating key risks to the business.

Greater Atlanta Area

Responsible for fulfilling client requirements and oversight of the completion of Power Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) contracts in this portion of the CH2M portfolio which had been discontinued. As president of this group I managed the wind-down of the Power EPC business. This included overseeing the completion six active Power EPC projects in US over a 2-1/2 year period while maintaining high levels of health and safety performance (zero H&S incidents), mitigating risk, addressing complex supply chain issues, preserving the company's financial position and meeting client expectations.

Responsible for leading CH2M Industrial and Advanced Technology business providing consulting, design, construction management and operations support of advanced manufacturing and mission-critical facilities to major industrial clients globally; and leading CH2M Urban Environments and Sports business unit noted for success in program planning and management of large complex infrastructure programs creating new and revitalized urban environments and supporting global sports and events such as London 2012 Olympics, Rio 2016 Olympics, Qatar 2020 World Cup, Masdar City, and urban developments and transport investments along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
