The Foundation is currently funding a range of both basic research and clinical projects with global Thought Leaders. Key to our strategy is to better understand the natural history and underlying pathophysiology of PHTS; support the repurposing of existing drugs as potential PHTS treatments as well as investing in new target identification and de novo drug discovery efforts.Key personal accountabilities:-Define and implement the Foundation’s Clinical Strategy and Priorities in partnership with the internal team, Key Opinion Leaders and the Foundation’s own Scientific Advisory Board.-Act as a key interface between Foundation and Sponsors for ISTs and collaborative group studies. -Build relationships with Pharma and Biotech partners highlighting the unmet medical need associated with PHTS and potential opportunities for both patients and industry in repurposing of existing drugs.-Lead the development and implementation of tools and processes to support effective planning; assessment of Key Performance Indicators and scalability of the Foundation’s future research and development activities.
