I have always been driven to design. I spent my childhood building with Legos. I was absorbed by the creative process, inspired to express myself through limitless possibilities. As I grew up, I became increasingly interested in the objects which surround us, fascinated by their design, complexity and manufacturing. Like many, I also developed a love of cars; not only for their elegant or thrilling shapes but also for the hidden technologies which animate them. I have nurtured my passion and curiosity throughout my education studying material science and mechanical engineering. My two-year technological degree in material science developed my understanding of material properties, structures, how they are obtained, their applications and more. I also acquired practical skills such as material elaboration, characterization, and an in-depth insight into manufacturing. I then continued my studies at a mechanical engineering school in order to further develop my expertise in product and industrial design, giving me a strong technical background in product development and project management. The various projects I had the opportunity to be involved in during the course of my studies allowed me to apply the skills I had learned, as well as helped me become increasingly autonomous, rigorous and precise.I demonstrated my ability to work as part of a greater team. During my internship at Sound & Bright in Los Angeles, my work contributed directly to the development of new products now on the market. I was tasked with the design of a new range of laser-based ultrasound systems. Throughout the internship, I applied my know-how to the mechanical design, supplier and manufacturer management, assembly of systems and quality verification. Now, my goals are to share my passion and knowledge, solve problems, develop products and build the future.(Currently employed on a H1B visa)

Opto-mechanical design, product development, optimization and assembly of laser-based ultrasound systems (interferometers) used for non-destructive testing on materials as well as bio-medical applications. -
Transportation Design StudentUniversité Du Québec À Montréal Sep 2019 - Feb 2020Montréal, Québec, CaAcademic exchange focused on automobile design and creativity. Program dedicated to product design such as creation phase, sketching methods, 3D modeling, rendering. User-centered design (how to design things for everyone). Complex surfaces modeling using Rhino 3D CAD software. -
Mechanical Engineer InternshipSound & Bright Sep 2018 - Feb 2019Los Angeles, California, UsA 6 months internship at Sound & Bright as a Mechanical Engineer. Throughout this experience, I was responsible for the mechanical design of a new range of laser-based ultrasound systems for non-destructive testing. I operated on every aspects of the project including:- Development of new product covers using aesthetical design methods (sketching, CAD and rendering).- Mechanical design of parts.- 3D modeling using Autodesk Inventor 2018.- Structural optimization of each system with the aim of reducing the overall cost, dimensions, and weight.- Project organization on a company-specific software.- Management of supplier relations, quotes and purchase orders. - Mechanical parts validation using the finite element method when required (on Autodesk Fusion 360).- Parts verifications, quality check, and final assembly. The work I have accomplished at Sound & Bright resulted in a significant reduction (40% to 50%) in the manufacturing cost of each system I worked on. Also, the number of mechanical parts has been reduced by 37%. -
