Acted as the MCB Camp Butler GIS Subject Matter Expert for all GIS future project data; to include the creation and maintenance of project feature classes and the creation and maintenance of the General Development and Master Plan maps. Acted as the liaison between the Planning and GIS Sections.Acted as the MCB Camp Butler GIS Subject Matter Expert for all GIS emergency services data; to include Fire Department and PMO data layers. This included the development and maintenance of GIS feature classes and the creation of map products.Created and implemented a Public Works Project Data Strategy Guide to aid in the transfer of data from the Planning Section to the Installation Geospatial Information and Services Office.Created and implemented a strategy to track feature level metadata for the entire MCB Camp Butler geodatabase.Played a key role in the migration of MCB Camp Butler's geospatial data to Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE) version 3.0. Aided in the MCB Camp Butler's schema adaptation of SDSFIE 3.0 by creating GEOFidelis compliant feature classes before the data migration took place.Developed the Metadata Authoring Guide, to aid contractors in the creation of feature class level metadata.Performed QA/QC on geospatial contract deliverables.Aided MCICOM in the development of the GEOFidelis Data Management Guide.Composed a Statement of Work to develop all GIS feature classes pertaining to the Camp Fuji electrical system.Developed the 2012 MCB Camp Butler Data Catalog. Worked predominantly with ESRI's ArcGIS (ArcInfo) version 9.3.1 software. Served as the primary GIS support for the Installations and Logistics Department. Worked closely with the Station Planner and Station Engineers, providing GIS technical support and expertise as required. Assigned as the primary lead for maintenance and development of the future projects and military construction (MILCON) data, to include support for the F-35B JSF and VMU-4 basing decisions. Completed over a hundred maps for a variety of departments at MCAS YumaServed as the primary lead in completing the HQMC Addressing Initiative. Assisted in the maintenance of the Enterprise user access database. Conducted major ArcSDE and iNFADS reconciliation efforts by working with the Station Planner and Real Property Manager.Improved the installation geospatial readiness rating for iNFADS integration for CIP layers from 60% to 99%. Assisted in maintaining database integrity and standards, as well as, updating and creating metadata; to ensure compliancy for the 2009 and 2010 G-Ratings. Updated metadata definitions and GEOFI West required Metadata elements. Provided QA/QC review of Sanborn planimetric features and imagery. Conducted data acquisition, management, and development, to expand MCAS Yuma's ArcSDE geospatial database holdings. Assisted in the expansion of white space data. This included over 40 new feature classes which have been added to the installation database since 2009. Worked with the Installation Geospatial Information and Services manager in developing Statements of Work (SOWs) for GIS related projects. Helped other installation departments in writing Statements of Work for their GIS deliverables. Acted as the primary lead for coordinating the TAIC Monthly Status Report between Installations and Logistics and Range, to ensure contract compliancy. Provided GIS technical support as needed.

Worked extensively with GIS software, predominantly ESRI's ArcGIS, and Erdas Imagine. Assisted in building and maintaining the digital and hardcopy database. Constructed map products, (i.e. hill shades, imagery maps, special maps), to include advanced terrain analysis, for the purpose of military operations. Performed cartographic duties such as map updates, scanning, rectification, digitizing, and quality control of map products. Assisted in the creation of data, usually through imagery analysis and digitizing. Helped gather intelligence data, across various government agencies, to better support the mission. Presented GIS findings to superiors in the form of military briefings and products. Attended weekly GIS training, and partook in ESRI provided courses. Obtained a Secret Security Clearance Level.
