Mechanical Applications Engineers are responsible for Mechanical Engineering on allocated gas turbine projects. This includes: •writing contract specific purchase specifications, •issuing and maintaining Contract documents to reflect the contract requirements (document schedule, utility schedule, test procedures, datasheets, performance data, HAZOP records)•Liaison with: other Engineering disciplines, project management, sourcing, all to ensure the package and ancillary equipment meets the customer’s specifications.•Review and approval of vendor documentation.•Providing technical support to the customer, including attendance at customer meetings•Support to installation and commissioning of the gas turbine projects allocated.•Support to Engineering departments in other Packaging locations.

Assigned with the data entry and archiving of past cases that the Sheffield HSE had documented, inserting them onto a new system database, and archiving the physical copies for future reference.
