Ever since I was a little kid, I've always been fascinated by how cool and complex the everyday items around me were. Things like my parent's car, the TV, or even the very toys that I played with filled me with a deep sense of curiosity that made me wonder how people were able to develop such things. Naturally, this curiosity eventually led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and later a Master's with a concentration in Product Development where I learned how to break down these complex processes and understand the intricacies of developing these items and how I could potentially contribute to the development process in my future career.In the past, my time as a Quality Assurance intern for L3Harris and a Project Management intern for Axilone gave me a strong foundation for understanding the Product Development process and helped me understand the knowledge of Mechanical Engineering I gained in college through the practical experiences I went through. During my time at L3Harris, my primary task was evaluating the Printed Wiring Boards for any potential risks and performing a root cause failure analysis to determine how these issues occurred. At Axilone, I was tasked with coordinating with the manufacturing plant to develop product timelines and ensure that production operated as smoothly as possible. Additionally, I was responsible for creating new CAD models for prototype designs and evaluating their mechanical functionality by creating physical parts using a 3D printer. Going forward I'm excited to use the resources I gained from all my different experiences to contribute to a new workplace and leave my own mark.
