My most recent skillset development involves horticulture, botany, farming methods, aquaponics, and general gardening. In 2018 I began studying and working at floriculture, more specifically the production of specialty cut flowers for commercial purposes. I've learned from countless other flower farmers and floral designers how flowers are grown, how they are grown organically, what they are used for, and most importantly how lucrative they can be.My secondary area of expertise is in biochemistry and neuroscience, specifically cell signaling and apoptosis. I have approximately 8-10 years of research experience at the bench working with several different areas including, cell culture, molecular biology, antibody applications, electrophoresis, microscopy, image analysis, and other biochemical assays. In the last 10 years I have worked in scientific and medical sales positions working for small, medium, and large companies. I was tasked with maintaining and growing territories generally focused around the state of Maryland.I have additional experience in mentoring, teaching, tutoring, TAing, literature review, internet research, and extensive computer skills with a multitude of software programs, both scientific and non-scientific.My number one goal is to grow our organic flower farming business into a successful and stable company that is producing well over $500,000 a year in revenue in 5 years. Ideally, we would be a well known and respected company in the seasonal and local flower community, promoting other small businesses, supporting local agriculture, and educating the public about the benefits of environmentally friendly and sustainable growing practices.Specialties: Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Apoptosis, cell death, cell signaling, biochemical assays, research, medicine, drugs, pharmacology, computer software, writing, scientific writing
