Outbound Distribution Warehouse Worker
Current• Responsible for processing of factory orders and ensuring their on-time delivery to stores• Load trucks, check out merchandise, verify products, and record outgoing merchandise• Distribute received inventory to designated production areas• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet riders, tuggers and the sorter to move materials and items from receiving and storage area to production floor• Facilitate inventory management and inform management of low inventory• Pull product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores• Load and unload shipments, pallets, etc. • Package merchandise to be distributed to stores• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool room, supply rooms, or other areas• Mark stock items using identification tags, labels, marking tools, or other labeling equipment• Train new employees on best practices• Develop ideas and recommend best practices to promote safe and efficient work habits• Review purchase orders and problem solve any discrepancies• Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and supplies throughout warehouse to sustain manufacturing and production activities
