Began role as a Project Manager overseeing a team of 7 technicians charged with installing smart meters in areas traditionally difficult to access and/or not accessible to our employees. Was able to complete this emergent work without a safety incident and ahead of schedule. Once full deployment began I oversaw a work force of up to 24 bargaining unit technicians installing meters throughout the Rockford area and dock employees in charge of material and tool logistics, dock maintenance and inventory. Again, our scheduled work was completed without safety incident and ahead of schedule. Was tasked with ensuring the safety and productivity of all field personnel, assisted our Deployment Planning Team in scheduling work in the most productive and efficient manner and would personally arrange and attend higher profile installations. Maintained a high level of visibility in the field with my employees. Position required clear communications of all goals, expectations and rules. Employees were coached and performance managed as required and I handled all Inquiries from IBEW Local 15 as they pertained to my office and employees.
