I co-founded Purdy Enterprise, LLC with my wife in 2009, after 2 years of sole proprietorship, and have since developed the company into a provider of property preservation, rental maintenance, repair, inspection, and commercial grounds keeping services throughout the Carolinas. Purdy Enterprise is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.

I assisted with the A2Z's M&M III Field Service Management (FSM) contract for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in contract area 1A (IN, IL, KY, NC, SC, and TN). I built successful and deep relationships with hundreds of maintenance and inspection subcontractors throughout the contract area. I personally oversaw as many as 400 REO properties at a time. I helped the firm consistently outperform other FSM contractors. I personally achieved praise from corporate management, HUD Asset Manager personnel, and various vendors. And, I consistently exceeded expectations regarding timeliness, cost control, communication, and quality assurance.

I assisted with the firm's maintenance efforts in repairing Marine Corp equipment while units were training or being used on deployments. I prepared Hazardous Material, Safety, and Special Instruction courses to ensure OSHA requirements were being exceeded and that a safe work environment was being provided to all staff. I oversaw 250 seven-ton Troop Carriers in regards to preventative maintenance and repairs, and lead a team of ten mechanics in such efforts. Our repairs included correcting extreme damages from IEDs and RPGs, in addition to repairs related to extended vehicle dormancy and inactivity.

I served with 2ND LAAD Battalion from 2003-2007, including one tour in Iraq between January 2005 and August 2005. I was honorably discharged in 2007. And I received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during my deployment.
