I am currently employed as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This is a mixed research and teaching position. My research interests are covering various facets of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, with a particular emphasis on low-dimensional quantum condensed matter physics, entanglement, quantum computing, conformal field theory and representation theory.Having worked across several disciplines for many years I am also very open for new collaborations in neighbouring fields such as data science, quantum information and quantum computation and potentially with institutions outside of academia.- Research experience in various areas of theoretical and mathematical physics- Lectured classes in physics and mathematics at several universities world-wideResearch Interests:- Generalized symmetries- Low-dimensional quantum condensed matter physics- Conformal field theory- Quantum computing- Quantum integrable models- Strongly correlated systems- Tensor networks- Machine learning and reinforcement learning- Cold atom gases- Representation theorySummary of publications:https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=qFQPfr0AAAAJ
