• My role at the Attorney-General’s Department consisted of many functions within the IT Security team, these required a high amount of diligence and attention to detail. Below are the outcomes of what was required:
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and taking actions to mitigate threats and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Working with the Information Technology Security Manager to respond to cyber security incidents.
• Assisting the Information Technology Security Manager with technical remediation activities required as a result of audits.
• Assisting in the selection of security measures to achieve the strategies selected by the Information Technology Security Manager with respect to disaster recovery.
• Raising awareness of information security issues with system owners and personnel.
