I am a recent graduate of undergraduate Criminal Justice studies from Appalachian State University, currently working seasonal jobs with the goal of attending graduate school in the near future. I am experienced in areas involving leadership, teamwork, and problem solving while remaining open-minded and responsive to feedback. My interests include mental health and clinical mental counseling, both within the field of criminal justice and outside of it. I am driven by a strong desire to help people, and want to make the lives of everyone I come into contact with better.My experiences as a raft guide have helped me grow my inter-personal and communication skills as well as hone new ones such as public-speaking and instruction.
