Appstract - a B2B SaaS platform - is changing the way people shop online. When our shopping requires bigger decisions, we often involve more people in the decision-making process (using screenshots, text messages, messaging apps, etc.). Appstract’s plug-in enables a shared shopping experience in any webshop, so customers can easily invite friends and family into their personal shopping experience – it’s like Google Docs for shopping.

SMART-TRIAL is a B2B SaaS platform founded in 2013 with one goal in mind; to enable all MedTech companies to collect high-quality clinical data in compliance with industry regulations. SMART-TRIAL was acquired by Greenlight Guru (US) in May 2022. I supported SMART-TRIAL in their scale-up phase to Exit.

Delogue was founded in 2011 and offers a cloud based B2B platform (SaaS) to designers and buyers in the lifestyle/fashion industry. By the end of 2021 the Delogue PLM SaaS platfom is used by 140+ fashion companies and has ~10.000 users from 60+ countries. The company has been very succesfull in the last few years and employ close to 40 people in Copenhagen (HQ), Aarhus (Denmark) and Pune (India).

Tarius A/S was established in 1996, and gather, organize and translate medical regulations (legislation) from ~110 countries and organizations. The regulations are organized in a cloud based web portal and access is sold to medical companies around the world (SaaS B2B). Tarius had 30+ employees in Copenhagen and a network of 300+ consultants in ~50 countries.As CEO my objective was to improve Tarius' financial performance and prepare the company for an Exit. After years with basically flat revenue, a significant double-digit revenue growth was achieved in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Tarius was acquired by IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) – the global leader within the medical data space - and I headed up the business unit within IQVIA throughout the integration.

Over 6 years I took Advalight from a university project to a full blown ISO 13485 certified medical device company with CE marked and FDA approved products, production in Denmark, distribution network and a sales & service subsidiary in California, USA.The journey took me through several funding rounds with private, VC, soft money and institutional investors. Also, the challenge of bringing a complex medical laser to market - from development and clinical studies over pilot production to distribution and sales - gave me a very holistic operational insight as well as taught me the need for being pragmatic, data driven and strategic on all levels.From March 2015 President at Advalight Corp.
