Mr. Rafter has gone to trial in criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicide to complex white collar health care fraud. Mr. Rafter has used his skills to successfully litigate and resolve numerous personal injury cases including an extensive number of car accidents, slip and falls, and wrongful death cases. Mr. Rafter’s skills as a trial attorney have been recognized on both a state and even national levels. Mr. Rafter has served as an instructor for the National College of District Attorneys teaching Trial Advocacy to prosecutors throughout the country. He has been a lecturer for the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Association and has also instructed police officers on search and seizure laws as well as the rules of evidence.
