Since working at Pharos offshore group I have been fortunate to work along side some very motivated and highly skilled individuals that are a great asset to the company.The move in to this industry has helped me start to develop new skills in hydraulics and electrics. There has also been need for me to transfer the skills I have to help in the modification of the 1200hp Universal Trenching Vehicle ( UTV 1200 )The UTV 1200 can be used for trenching with either a chain cutter or a jetting tool package that can be changed out at sea. It has been modified to have a very low profile for stability and has been specifically designed to bury submarine power cables.

Over my nine year career at Scargills I was involved in the management of sites installing heating, plumbing and pipework systems. In the earlier stages it was mainly oil and gas installation in domestic properties, with associated plumbing for hot and cold services. The company was also involved in the maintenances and services of industrial pipework of local factories, commercial building and hotels etcAround four years into my career the industry rapidly changed direction, resulting in the change towards renewable technologies. This introduce me in to the installation of Air / Ground sources heat pumps, Biomass boilers and multi fuel systems, using back boiler and solar thermal.Throughout this career I gained a variety of experience working on all types of systems from small installations to large industrial systems, giving me the chance to develop a very good skill set .
