Holder of 7 conservatory diplomas and two masters in choir conducting and orchestra conducting (cum laude), Thomas Raoult, French/Luxemburgish conductor won the SACEM prize for analysis in 2001 for his dissertation on Ludwig von Beethoven's 3rd symphony "Eroica" and the gold medal of the Vienna International Choir Festival in Austria in 2013.He then honed his skills with prestigious conductors and pedagogues like Jorma Panula, Colin Metters, Wolfgang Scheidt, Günter Neuhold and Sir Roger Norrington.Thomas Raoult is the artistic director and conductor of the Luxembourg Chamber Players made in collaboration with the OPL's musicians.He’s also the founder and conductor of the Atelier Lyrique de Luxembourg and the choir Lux Vocalis. He has performed in the main halls of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Philharmonie, Neumünster Abbey, Trifolion, Luxembourg Cathedral, Grand Théâtre), as well as on various international stages such as the Merklin Concert Hall, the UN and Avery Fisher Hall in New York; St. Peter Kirche, MusikVerein and Konzerthaus Vienna and Le Louvre-Lens. Thomas Raoult was at the origin of two Luxembourg premieres:- The misa a Buenos Aires or "Misa Tango" by Martin Palmeri in May 2016,- Christmas Cantata by Nils Lindberg in December 2016,He was awarded the world premiere of the piece "Carmen 2" by Maltese composer Joseph Vella in March 2017.http://www.youtube.com/Thomlille
