Represent the College on mission- related local, state, and regional committees and organizations. Develop and recommend significant operational policies to assure innovation, quality, continuous improvement, and growth of the Campus and Center and support the College's strategic plan and mission. Coordinates college-wide adult student learning program Serve as the site liaison for K-12 partners consisting of Dual Enrollment, concurrent collegiate schools, and FSW Collegiate High School Charlotte. Collaborate with the Division of Academic Affairs to assist with the College's existing partnerships with other local higher education providers.

From April 2017 to June 2018 served as Interim Dean. As Associate Dean concurrently provided leadership in the planning, direction, and evaluation of the academic unit in conjunction with the Dean. Assisted with the administration of all assigned programs in accordance with administrative policies and procedures. Supervised faculty assignments, including credential verification, teaching performance, student review of instruction surveys, and professional improvement. Managed enrollment of the programs in the School ensuring each program was achieving the defined student learning outcomes. Assessed student achievement and retention, and implemented continuous improvement as appropriate. Coordinated the timely submission of unit plans in keeping with the goals and objectives of the School and the College.

For the School of Business and Technology (SoBT), I teach SLS 1331 “Personal Business Skills,” a course which assists student in focused career assessment and the knowledge, skills, and abilities to advance their current and future career goal. Also for SoBT, I teach MAN 3046 "Leadership and Team Development,"​ a course which focuses on the leadership of teams for effective performance and member satisfaction.For the Division of Academic Success, I teach SLS 1515 "The Cornerstone Experience," which is an integrative and interdisciplinary course designed to help first-year students acquire critical thinking and decision-making skills that promote academic success.

In partnership with area associate deans, I was responsible for Arts and Sciences academic instruction, curriculum, programs and program development, and direction of over 100 full-time and 250 adjunct faculty. As Acting Dean of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences, I supervised those likewise named academic departments.
