The work involves the repairing, refurbishing and servicing of mining equipment particularly on different crushers. The work involves using a multitude of tooling. Hand, Air and Power tools used for grinding, buffing or cutting are used frequently. Problem solving is used everyday to find solutions to challenging situations. Working to time limits is always a part of the job as equipment coming into the workshop will often need to be returned to site by a certain date. Whilst on site and on shutdowns only certain windows are allocated for carrying out repairs or other work and therefore work must be completely methodically and quickly. Show less

In this role I used a variety of Gardening equipment such as Strimmers, Lawnmowers, Rakes, Saws and Cutting tools. These were all used in Garden Maintenance.
