I worked as a 3rd class bus mechanic and worked my way up to a 1st class Technician until 08/11 Before I moved into management where I Manage a group of skilled maintenance employees in areas of Bus and Rail Maintenance within city garages: I scheduled the work to maximize economic, efficient and safe work standards. Promotes continuous improvement in safety, reliability and customer satisfaction. In 2013 I moved over to the rail Maintenance systems within city Rail garages where I also Schedule and directed the preventive maintenance and repair of Rail cars and to Assure the timely execution of work orders and service calls. Responsible for programs including preventive maintenance, inspection and failure diagnosis/analysis. Responsible for controlling labor and material expenditures to comply with budgetary limitations.
