•Designed event-driven architecture for a serverless application centered around Eventbridge, Lambda functions, and DynamoDB, creating in a system where other engineering teams could integrate our application without directly modifying our code• Architected a DynamoDB table and suite of serverless lambda APIs to replace a legacy API, improving page-load times by 15-30x• Led a team in restructuring a DynamoDB table from a simple key-value store to a more flexible schema, enabling flexible queries• Created and updated micro-frontends in frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, Lit.html• Oversaw the localization of multiple micro-frontend applications to prepare them for our UK business, including handling feature toggles, coordinating with backend API teams to ensure compatibility with new requirements, and localizing data displays• Developed modules for a client-side SDK to aid other teams with easy access to common APIs, metrics monitoring, and more, offloading much of the repetitive workload from other teams so they can focus on building their own applications• Saved 500ms on page loads by discovering an optimization in how micro-frontends loaded the client-side SDK, and instructed other teams on how to update their MFEs to take advantage of the time savings, improving load times across the site for almost every page• Rewrote the documentation for our SDK from the ground up, with a focus on balancing in-depth explanations of SDK usage and configuration options with simple, comprehensible explanations• Organized and ran monthly demo days, showcasing the work of different teams within the org to foster communication and collaboration

• Used React Hooks API and Redux state management library to build stateful and presentational components, dynamically generating from YAML schemas as part of an in-house CMS that allowed content teams to work independently of engineering• Wrote Jest, Cypress, & React Testing Library tests as part of a CI/CD pipeline, creating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure stability of production code and enforce high standards and developer accountability for any new additions to the codebase• Mentored junior developers through code review, internal workshops and lectures, and whiteboarding sessions, with an emphasis on instilling best practices, reinforcing technical skills, and enforcing proper design pattern implementation

• Designed scalable GraphQL caching algorithms for client-side JS and Express.js servers to parse queries and normalize response data for cache storage, improving application performance and user experience through an easy-to-integrate JavaScript module• Set up CI/CD pipeline by integrating Travis CI into GitHub repository's Github Actions for automated testing, following my effort to establish a test-driven development workflow for the team to increase code resiliency and version reliability• Product developed under tech accelerator OS Labs (opensourcelabs.io)
