I take responsibility for both projects from financial close through to commercial operation, Including management of all construction contracts required to achieve commercial operation of both power projects.

To lead and take responsibility for the management of the site activity in the construction of a new Anaerobic digestion plant, inclusive of liaising with the client, working closely with the in-house process engineering and operations expertise, the coordination of the design, installation and commissioning of these elements within given project timescales, all site health, safety and environmental requirements, management of subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the required quality standards from the pre - construction phase to completion.

Onshore Wind farm ProjectsClashindarroch Wind Farm, Huntly, Aberdeenshire,In my most recent position as Senior Site Manager for Senvion UK Ltd,I was responsible for the management of health and safety on site, which included the safe delivery and erection of 18 Senvion MM82 2.05 MW WTG throughout the site. Turbine deliveries came via Grangemouth, Inverness and Aberdeen harbours and WTG components by road from Germany. The inspection of Health & Safety requirements from all subcontractors, inspection of risk assessments and method statements deliveries and lift plans, and safe erection of all wind turbines on the wind farm project.

Chirnogeni Wind Farm, Romania.In my position as Resident Engineer.I was responsible for monitoring all site based activities at the 80MW £130,000,000 Chirnogeni Wind Farm in Constanta county Romania. This includes road construction throughout the site, excavations and piling works which includes 164 rigid Inclusions in every foundation base, steel fixing and concreting of Turbine foundation bases, all elements of construction at the control building and substation. Trench excavation and Installation of all 110kV 20kV and fibre optic cabling. I carried out inspections during the delivery and erection of WTG, ensuring the correct implementation of QA and QC during the erection commissioning and energisation sequence of the turbine installation. I ensured that the project was built as per the stamped approved drawings / plans and EPC contract. I chaired all weekly and Monthly progress meetings. And assessed all construction projected targets against production; I was in daily contact with the main contractor’s project manager and staff.
