Professional ExperienceDOW CHEMICAL, Saudi Arabia   Operations Representative, Isocyanates ISS Unit, Saudi Arabia    2013-2017(Sadara Chemical Project, largest chemical project built)Led training to facilitate safety requirements and ISS operations unit. Orchestrated training review board exams and draw unit operations from memory based on training materials. Assisted in training maintenance operators, engineers, technical support, electrical, and instrument groups in writing and obtaining safe work permits.  Initiated team concept of completing group walk downs at the same time, reducing time loss and rework of operation commissions for ISS unit. Met all requirements and supplied one punch list within specified time period.  Emphasized safety and chemical awareness of systems within ISS unit by implementing new and different styles and types of training covering many subjects required in operating chemical plants. Led training for console operators and engineers on ABB platform, setting up scenarios for troubleshooting problems on training platform.   Trained engineering staff, shift foremen, operators, and technical advisors on writing permits, providing essential training required before participation in any field operations.   Delivered life-critical standard training to over 50 employees, ensuring no accidents or chemical exposure.

DOW AGROSCIENCES, Chlorpyridines, Freeport, TX                                                 2001 – 2012Activity and Project Coordinator / Gate Keeper / Shutdown/Startup Coordinated, prioritized, and scheduled plant activities to ensure plant operated in safe and optimal manner. Maintained accountability for plant controllable expense budget and managed prime expense budget of $4M. With P6 scheduling backgroundWorked with turnaround teams and developed job list and scopes for plant outages, confirming filed plans were correct and ensuring jobs linked properly in P6 scheduling tool.   Implemented pit stop strategy across all units, improving reliability and run times and reducing costs.  Demolished 1 operating unit, demonstrating leadership skills of starting project and completing in timely manner. Reduced emergency work requested from 50% to 20% in 1 year by serving as intermediary between maintenance and operations. Led many small projects, decreasing overall cost of operating unit and increasing production.
