International development functions, including the initiation of new university collaborations, contract negotiations, fostering internationalization, presentations of scientific results and cooperation proposals. As a program coordinator it was possible to triple the numbers of incoming and outgoing students, extending the variety of exchange possibilities and successfully promote new programs from summer schools to double degrees. These achievements are only possible by maintaining personal relations to researchers, executive staff on a university level but also by involving the diplomatic representatives of both countries.
