Senior Case Manager
Current- Manage assigned cases within the Workers’ Compensation legislation and the policies and guidelines of the Commission, facilitating access to all services as required in the most expedient and cost effective manner - Verify and calculate benefits - Manage the medical rehabilitation plan including transitional work components of cases - Review decisions on the basis of new information and alter decisions where appropriate- Coordinate efforts of the employer and service providers in the return-to-work plan - Identify complex case issues, policy and directive interpretation issues, and other related issues or recommendations to the attention of the Regional Director or to case management meetings for guidance and resolution - Oversee vocational rehabilitation activities
