As department head and senior attorney, I participate in various organizational & managerial actions, e.g., reorganizations, strategic planning efforts, articulation of organizational goals, budgetary matters, & dealings with other organizations. Supported numerous large & complex contractual actions, including proposal evaluation & negotiations; GAO bid protests; contract administration issues/actions; & Armed Service Board of Contract Appeals litigation. Other responsibilities include safety & environmental matters, security issues, ethics/standards of conduct matters, training, & information management. I manage a legal office supporting an organization responsible for ship construction, overhaul, & repair contracts currently exceeding $25 billion.
