During my time as a full-time service desk employee, I was part of the new service desk team as part of the first employees on that account. I worked as a member of tech support for over a ear, leading the team and training new starts. The team had a range of people with different expertise, consisting of experienced analysts, less experienced employees, and people with little to no IT knowledge. Throughout my time I acquired new knowledge from every ticket I dealt with. Taking on the added responsibility of working calls as well as dealing with the open ticket queues, I later took responsibility of leading the team to a fix with a new issue. Also dealing with harder issues that could be fixed by our team to save time with customers and help us meet targets. As well as having the opportunity to meet with the client to help fix issues with a new program rollout. Working on the ticketing program of ServiceNow, with the clients having access to the ServiceNow catalogue to be able to order different equipment. With day-to-day dealing with Active directory issues, outlook, Skype, lock outs and password resets and BitLocker.
