I assisted Marc Sherratt during a University break with his Elephant Migration route project. This involved establishing historical elephant migration routes that could be recreated through potential wildlife corridors.

I was an Architectural Technologist for various projects based in Gauteng, namely renovating a shopping centre in Pretoria, a bakery in Fordsburg and a green-field residential project in Houghton, Johannesburg. This involved producing as-built, council and working drawings for my supervising architect and design proposals for clients and on-site supervision.

Following Cyclone Idai, I visited Mozambique with a group of South African architecture students. In collaboration with Allan Schwarz, founder of Mezimbite Forest Centre, and members of the local community, we designed and built a prototype for resilient, low-cost housing to replace homes destroyed by the cyclone. Working on-site, alongside members of the local community, was an exercise in collaboration and skill- transfer that crossed economic, academic, and national boundaries.

I assisted C76 Architecture with various projects, including a low-cost housing project in Khayelitsha, a modular kitchen design and a residential project on Monahan Estate.
